Cruising
For those interested in cruising activities (generally June to September), a schedule should be listed on the website, or you can contact the Rear Commodore.
Racing
The racing agenda is set by the Race Fleet Captain. As the NWMA is a PIYA-affiliate, your membership in NWMA qualifies you to captain a multihull in PHRF-NW racing.
Mutual Aid
Members help other members with launching, mast raising, DIY projects and skill building.
Fisheries Supply
A significant benefit to current members can be our discount at Fisheries Supply. The discount amount varies on the category of the product — electronics have a lower discount than bottom paint. When logged into your Fisheries Supply account you can see the discounted price. Members who own boats or are building boats can easily offset the cost of their club membership with this discount alone.
Ballard Sails
- New sail orders placed (deposit received) between July 1st and August 15th, or between Dec 1st and Jan 15th, 10% discount.
- Sail measure for PHRF/ORC, $30 per sail, if sail is brought to the loft.
This offer is valid on cruising and racing sails.
Dakota Lithium
Dakota Lithium is offering a discount to paid members of NWMA through their online store. Eligible items include Marine and Boat Batteries, Inverters and Monitors, and Solar Panels. Discount amount is currently about 20%. https://dakotalithium.com/
Club Burgee
A NWMA Burgee is available for new members or those who have never received one.
Replacements can be purchased for those that have worn theirs out (a good thing, right?). Contact the Membership Chairman to request a replacement.
